Our Story
St. Mark’s Lutheran School and Preschool is a Christian school owned and operated by St. Mark’s congregation and located on Buckwheat Rd. in Milford, OH.
St. Mark’s opened its doors in 1997 with just a few preschool students. A new school building was dedicated in 2003 – and with God’s blessingOver the years, the school grew and added grades – and in 2011 held its first 8th grade graduation!
Today, chartered by the State of Ohio and a member of the National Lutheran Schools Accreditation, St. Mark’s serves children from more than 30 churches and 11 school districts in the Cincinnati area.
Christ is a part of everything we do at St. Mark’s! From preschool through 8th grade, every classroom begins the day with a devotion, prayer, and Jesus time. Prayer continues at lunchtime and throughout the day. Students also experience Bible lessons and songs during weekly Chapel services. Conversations about God with teachers and other students support their development as faithful, well rounded students.
At St. Mark’s Lutheran School, we are committed to preparing our students for life and for eternity!
– Our Mission –

Transportation
In the state of Ohio, school districts are required to transport students to parochial schools if the travel time is less than 30 minutes.
St. Mark’s has bus transportation for students in kindergarten through grade 8 from Goshen, Clermont Northeastern, West Clermont, and Milford school districts. Other districts may be added to this list as the number of students in those districts that attend St. Mark’s grows.
Parents are asked to contact their district transportation office for this service.
St. Mark’s Lutheran School exists to assist and serve parents with their God given task of bringing up a child in the way they should go (Ephesians 6:4, Proverbs 22:6); and to assist St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in fulfilling our Lord’s Commission “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
St. Mark’s Lutheran School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all
the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made
available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race,
color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies,
admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other
school-administered programs.
